We are. I'm laughing at Mr L shouting at the telly about what they should be doing etc. He thinks he is Bear Grylls himself

cant stand bear grylls. i get that he is a ratings dream but to me he is dangerous and should never be head of the scouts.

Ray Mears is the daddy of survival! he never drank his own piss from a snake skin or sucked the moisture from camel shit.

Bear....don't know shit. Truth is all he knows the n each TV program he does he is taught there and then and advised on what, where when by a team of s.a.s guys. Its all shown in the credits with thanks too...and bunch of SAS guys names. I knowa guy ex sas who worked with bear on his first TV series. He told me bare is helicopterd in and out of locations...very rarely sleeps in her s shelters or outdoors and is more suited to a hotel than living in wilds. Hats off to him though...he's made a life for himself with something he enjoys even if is all fake really.

Ray on the other hand is a gem of a man. Having met him I'd say he's about as knowledgeable as one can get living in the wilds but as he would agree I'm sure your always learning new things

But it is always the 'fat' people that do better when food is scarce, so Ray has got that bit right too!

Central

It was an okish first show, though his other survival one with celebrities only finished this week. Very similar.

The group were a bit of a rabble, poor team skills. And some who didn't seem well suited to being there. Pity the younger guy didn't want to stay.

Looking forward to the women's island tonight. Going to be heated I think.

The old builder was a bit of a dunce, you never build a shelter on the beach it's too exposed to the elements. Then he went into a strop

I got asked to go along to audition for this series, had to give it a miss though, was going through a very different kind of survival at a festival in Skipton. The weather was fucking horrendous and loads of bands got cancelled. Cant help but think I made the wrong choice...

As a climber I just can't watch more than a few minutes of Bear Grylls - he does too many things that are just plain wrong and I end up shouting at the TV...
