I used to love playing marbles in my lunch hour at school.

Did you play or have you just lost them over years

Our big thing at lunch was flicking coins, whoever could get theirs nearest the wall, took the pot. Usually amounted to about 50p-£1, flash money when you're 10

You look to young for marbles and bullies (the bigger balls) we used to collect lolly ice sticks and had a game where you tried to chop the other person's stick in half! Also pitch and toss coins lost me dinner money lots of times lol

POGS - They were little card discs that you and a friend would stack face down on top of each other.

you then got a "slammer" which was a heavy plastic/metal disc that you slammed on the top of the stack to scatter them all, whichever ones landed face up you got to keep, It was like a cross between marbles and collecting football cards, certain pogs had specific designs such as "Shiny" pogs.

We called it Ollies. And also played Bollies with bigger Ollies. Funnily enough the girls tended to ignore the intensity that ollies generated for the boys, as it was predominantly a male pursuit. Instead they would chant stuff as they threw two balls at a wall or avoided tripping over skipping ropes while doing dance moves

I called my sister and everything ( she's living at the family home ) to check if any stray ones left over from our youth.

Zilch. Nil. None.

Good luck
