Can't you just keep the phone you have now? Or ask if anyone in the family has a spare phone they don't use.

Ask yourself, do you really need a new phone now ?

Why not stick with the S3 , get a cheaper sim only deal and put the difference away to buy a phone later?

Oh I doubt it

Try factory resetting it and see if that restores some of its lost vigor

Check omio for very best deals.

May need to start new contract.

02 are pretty Crap with upgrade deals.

See phone you want, with package. Find a few deals.

Ring 02 customer service, tell them of deals ask them to match or better.

If not walk away get better deal.

I save a packet on all our phones every time contract renewal comes up.

Tell your existing supplier that you are leaving to go elsewhere and supply them the details of what you want.

their 'customer retention' team will be on you like a cheap suit and you'll get just what you want.

ok been chatting with the lovely kaitlyn in india - waived the 21 quid charge of contract outstanding if we did it today - so thats neither her nor there - instead of going to the 37.50 deal went to the 32.50 one with 19.99 upfront - waived the 19.99 and also reduced by £3 a month to 29.50 - 2 quid a month more than carphone warehouse but theyre shutting down round here and i want the phone covered (it wouldnt be covered by o2 if i got from elsewhere obviously)and i think o2 are ok so can stand that - my old contract was 28 so only £1.50 more a month which is fine --

id say that was a pretty good result - she even stayed online til i did the techy thing with codes as it wouldnt do it through chrome and had to go through internet explorer - and i pick it up on friday happy susie

Wait until the S6 is released. The price of the S5 contract will decrease. I am sure it is only a few weeks off. I know you have said its not possible to buy a PAYG handset which is a shame as I have saved a lot of money doing so. I bought the S5 handset and got a 12 month sim only contract, unlimited texts, unlimited calls and 5G of 4g internet for £9.99 a month.
