Ok I know having an iteresting Avitar is better than non at all - I make no secret that mine is an old pic of me but how many people on here use avitars that have no connection to the profile?

I don't think it's many but just recently I seem to be stumbling onto quite a few

What's the protocol now?

Why would you have an old avatar on? Surely a pic that is recent(face if you choose) or a good pic of your body. But why on earth would you have an old pic of you on as your window of advert as it is.

Dont understand that.

Really have no idea why anyone would have a pic as avatar that has nout to do with you at all tho!

What do you mean like of a teddy bear?? Well I guess that could be linked to the profile name I guess.

Maybe I need to go fill up my _ruit bowl and take a pic of that lol.

My avatar is always a good pic of my body.

I _iew an avatar as something different to profile pics. An avatar is a symbol or image that you feel represents you in some way. It's only since joining this forum that I have seen them used more descriptively with pics of the person/s. Every other forum I have ever used has avatars used a bit more abstractly. I think this is just the nature of a swingers forum compared to a regular forum.

I can confirm however, that my bottom is mine and is only about 3 month old.

Sassy I only was meaning if it is a face pic as an avatar then why would anyone have an old one of them on. If it was say 5 years old then that seems strange to me.To me that is. If the person chooses an old pic then naturally is their choice. If I dont understand why something is done then I am the kind of person to ask why. Its not to be argumental but to answer a question.

Have to admit the bottom is very lovely x

Does anyone else change their avatar on a regular basis too as I get bored with mine?

Yes I actually grow bottoms in my garden! When my bottom becomes used and slightly icky, I simply get one out of the garden and attach a fresh one, guaranteeing a tag nut free existence with a 'spring-time' fresh bottom at all times.

I change mine quite regularly usually alternate face to ass every other day

I've been researching the impact of ass over face avatars. I'm due to publish my results sometime this week in this forum, the results are damning.

I have to say i like to see real body parts as to cartoony avitars. Like others have said. It gives an insight to the sexyness of the person. I wouldnt want to play with a cartoon...lol

Surely people notice when they meet their profile pictures don't match. If I met someone who didn't look at all like their pictures I would more than likely walk away as they are deceptive.

We just use a picture from our gallery, always a recent picture, we see the avatar as "first contact" it is the first thing people tend to look at when they are browsing, first impressions count and can get you noticed or ignored.

For example if I see a cock or close up pussy picture in an avatar I won't even look at the profile.

When I am browsing profiles or "who looked at me" I will single out profiles based on the avatar I see and ignore profiles without any avatar or if I don't like the avatar pic.

This avatar of mine is an older picture taken in the days of real film (in this age of digital), the rest of my pics are recent infact some even have a date stamp on (best before date Lol)

I do like a change though.

definitely my lips - all pics on my profile have been taken within the last 6 months.

though i should say - women are better at finding more flattering angles than guys. a lot of women on here who claim to be size 18+ you'd never guess by the pic of them on their profile x

Surely it's much better to have a silhouette as an avatar if you have no profile pics.

To have a pic for an avatar implies you have pics on your profile.

To see an interesting avatar pic and then click onto the profile to see more,only to find there are none is a bit of a bummer.

Why use an old avatar. That's more misleading than not having one at all. To be brutally frank it's dishonest and mis representation...... So .......why have an old one ?

My avatars are always new and I use them to represent what we are. Well I should say what I am, most couples will use a pic of the female on their couples profiles. I use my avatar to let couples know that they are not getting a stick thin model type but a girl with curves and boobs, that way if they like the slimmer girl they hopefully wont message me. My worst fear is meeting someone and them saying, oh i dont like bigger girls, I would feel insulted so rather they know what to expect.

All pictures accurate and none more than max a year old - no airbrushing or photoshopping - dont see the point - just us...

Personally we prefer real pictures of people, not fond of cartoons etc...
