"Wow, thats a beautiful lyric and a lovely tribute to her. I know some people are completely against tattoos, but we both celebrate individuality and like them. I only have 6 currently but have big plans for many more, and in July we are both getting a matching tattoo we have designed ourselves to mark our 10th wedding anniversary. I love that something so small can have such powerful personal meaning, and I love talking to people with tattoos and listening to the stories behind them. Juicy x" Thanks hun, hey love personal designs of tattoos u will have to inbox it me when u get it done.

"I think that's a lovely idea and will be a great lasting reminder of her for you. Personal ones that actually mean something are a great way of remembering someone spcial in your life. I have a full sleeve but my favourite one is the words Cape Diem on the inside of my left wrist. It's Latin for seize the day and is a reminder every time I put my watch on to make the most of my time here and not take life for granted. Got it done after my Mum passed away." That sounds good bud, bet ur mum looking down on i so proud.

"Why do people think tattoos must always have a meaning? Why did I get some of my tattoos - well because I wanted to really thats all" Why would anyone want to tattoo something on their skin with no meaning?

So unfortunatly iv lost confidence in them doing more detailed work than just a few letters

"Had a guy show my wife his tattoo of his name done in Chinese characters, was not amused when she told him it meant mummy's boy to her, had to backtrack fast to say that was a Japanese reading of it and could well be his name in Chinese. In reality though it did mean mummy's boy." Doesn't sound likely that someone who had a tattoo in Chinese would suggest it had a different meaning in Japanese since they're different languages.

Just had a word with the wife, she says long time ago the kanji had the same meaning but nowadays about 70% of the characters have different meanings now in chinese and japanese. Of course the words and pronunciation are completely different. However their is enough commonality for her to use it when talking to her fellow Chinese english language students to communicate. eg the kanji for Mao-Tse-Tung is the same in Japanese and Chinese but the Japanese pronounce it Mow Tac toe

People who are heavily tattooed rarely have meanings for every single one of their tattoos. Theres a book for tattoo tattoo artists with generic designs for generic meanings - it was written as a joke but is actually very true

Which can change the word. Mummy's boy would be something lik ??????. Dunno what your friend asked for? Plus- mandarin or canton etc
