It's hard to believe that Swap Shop actually worked successfully, even back then, could you imagine it today, sending your Action Man to some other kid you've never met and waiting in vain for the postman to arrive with your Connect 4.

Funniest call on that was when Victoria Beckham was on, a young lad asked a question and then piped up at the end "and do you really take it up the arse" before the producers could beep it out, cue red faces all round!
