I've got 6 animals at the moment. Cat, dog, 3 kids and a husband.

Daughter used to have 16 domestic domestic rats to. They were better behaved (and more hygienic) than the kids and husband!!! And they didn't answer back

"The bad news is our cat has been injured in an accident, and will be having surgery saturday morning."

That sucks. When any animal has been around you for long enough to develop their own character, they so become a member of the family in their own right and not just something for the kids to play with.

Hope puss pulls through, they`re tough little characters!

I have three cats, two ginger boys (brothers), and a siamese that thinks she's a dog.

Also have a dog who is not impressed with the siamese as she keeps climbing into her bed with her!

Dog shuffles as far away from pesky cat as she can!

All rescued, and used to work with horses for years, now just a hobby!

Cats are essentially their own masters, individual and in the main untrainable. Dogs make far better pets as they are loyal and obedient and much more suitable as a companion for a man.
