last week i went out in town with a load of people from work when some random lady came up and said i was the most beautiful person in the room and kept saying it for the following 10 mins

I can relate to the "mum" one -

somebody said to me today (hence the idea for the thread) I "always made them feel good about themselves" - no idea what they meant but made me feel good...
