Why Thursdays?

Bradford

Anything to do with politics and the voters seems to be on a Thursday, such as Question Time, leader's debate, etc.

According to the Guardian...

"The reason why British General Elections are held on Thursdays is because this day of the week was, in most cases, the traditional market day. As a result of this, most people would be in town and, therefore, be able to vote in addition to purchasing their wares."

Would you change the day? If so, what to?

Sunday and Saturday, to compete with religion.

The way things are going people are losing interest in both, and everything is heading towards being entertainment based.

Do remember 1984, seen a few versions of it and some more than once.

Think society is a bit of both really, but yeah more pleasure based than fear based.
