Where do half the people on this site get there pictures. As I scroll through different profiles I see loads of people with really good pictures edited/tinted/poses that look like a professional has took them and it gets me wondering.Partly because mine are naff in comparisson do you have a secret photographer in your basement. And if she's female can I borrow her

I use an app that can add tints and frames, text etc. Camly is a great one but expensive. There are free ones available through your app provider.

Some people do use photo's they've had taken by a professional photographer but most people just use the various options on their phone to improve the look of their pics. I generally use my laptop and a freeware program or two to iron out a few blemishes.

Use the camera on ipad. Put it on a10 or 3 second timer. Then crop or make black white with the picture edit.

Some of them are quality pictures produced with skill, it's just knowing how to handle your phone in taking them...plus there is quite a few apps you can download too. I've got 3 photographer mates, but it's more real if you do it yourself and not have a professional do it xxx

We often just use a camera with a timer, on a tripod. I have set it before to just take a pic every minute whilst we enjoy ourselves..... Most of the pics a crap but when there are 100s to choose from there's ways some decent ones.

We have a camera that has a self timer and a intervalometer on it plus a tripod. And we use Photoshop for editing. Ours definitely not professional looking, but they do get the point across.

Download Picasa if you want to play with pictures, ie make them b/w or change contrast. It is a really easy program to use - unlike photoshop which takes a lot longer to learn.

I use the inbuilt webcam on my laptop, which takes stills with a 3 second delay. Seems to do the job with little fuss. If I email them to my phone there are a few free inbuilt photo apps I can use to play with the colour and contrast.

Well I've edited a couple and I'm going to take some more this weekend so let's see how I get on any suggestions on good photos pm me and I'll see what I can do

I just use the camera on my macbook. Cameras high res so can be a little harsh. Hence the odd tint/ B and W etc. I delete more than I post!!

we are lucky in that lily gets plenty of pictures from her photoshoots of good photographers plus keith know his way around a camera and an editing suite .a lot is in the location and postitionig for the shots good luck and havr fun folks

I have just bought a tripod for my cam/ phone. It has a blue tooth gidget so takes the pics remotely came with selfie stick too £10 on ebay free postage. Excellant came this morning.

If you can have good lighting, practice with different angles and centre of focus.

We use our iPhone 5 and take loads of pics and select the best ones to put up. Have to agree with a poster that the iPhones editing features are pretty good, saying all that we are in the process of buying a camera just for this stuff and the Samsung Galaxy camera is one we're seriously considering.
