I remember the ad. Not sure why but every time the ad finished with. "For mash get smash" my little brother always added. "For tuffed get stuffed". Used to make me giggle every time.

Never tried the lumps version. Mind you there were a few lumps in my version. Never did get the hang of it!!!

There's a tv show called smash which is about musical theatre. Mashed potatoes are yummy as well

Lumps were definitely better than the powder for me...with lots of milk and margerine

They go well with any english roast Mashed potatoes I love them with Roast Lamb and thick gravy and the rest I,m Starveing now..

Sometimes....sometimes it was some weird own brand in a big square plastic opaque plastic box 2kg or something.....from Makro I think. Used to eat it a lot on a farm caravan site not far from you, near Corwen

We were a Yeoman family,the dried potato powder,not actual Yeomans. I quite liked it and my mum made up for it by making the best roast potatoes in the world on a Sunday. Small and very crispy
