Lost my phone on the way to work yesterday and can't believe how much of myself I had on there.

As well as Facebook, twitter, ebay, amazon, kobo and fab that automatically sign me in. I also have my debit card registered with a few where I just click a button to buy stuff

I've spent most of this afternoon changing passwords

Do any of you lot do the same? Or is it just me that's blonde

Do you have a passcode to get into the phone? If so you should be safe

You can use internet to locate your fone, most fones got their on online app that you will find so you can reset itself remotely, so it deletes all pics and texts.

I don't sign out of Fab or Facebook. My main email account is synched to my phone. I have notes on one note I wouldn't want anyone to read. And I don't lock my phone with a passcode. Bit silly really.

It is quite scary when you sit and think how much info is kept in our phones. Mine needs my fingerprint to get into so hopefully I wont lose both together

I tend to leave fab, logged in, apart from that there's nothing else incriminating, I do have a pin code though, that annoyingly, kicks in pretty often!

Super attitude! I'd be well annoyed, but you've done all you can with the bank and cards, you've probably also rang the provider to let them know, maybe they an block the use of the phone?

If its an Iphone, it will be synched with your Ipad if you have one a) you can get everything from it through that or Itunes and b) if anyone tries to use it, you will see it through your Ipad. I only know that because someone had their phone stolen and the thief took selfies which then appeared on their Ipad.

And yes, my pin numbers for cards I don't use a lot of are on my phone so you are not alone

"I've got it back. There are some nice people out there "

You'd be surprised how many nice folk there are, we're forever getting things handed to us at festivals...tons of phones.

We run the lost and found at creamfields and campsite information hubs and gates...(strange combo I know....) And the stiff we het handed is silly.....the phones alone in the low hundreds..

Feels nice when you reunite folk..you can generally find one of there mates by looking at the texts or last dialed...failing that there's usually a 'mum' in the phonebook...that's normally a good bet..

That and there normally picked up by the overjoyed owner...

Two girls this year actually...I was on the lost and found in the arena and a purse with a phone in it got handed in, logged as found in the toilets just nearby, I look over to said block of portajohns and there are two girls looking pained and looking in some of the cubicles as folk exited...on a hunch I went and asked and yeah, they hit the description of purse and contents dead on so I sent them over to the window to collect and sign for

Quickest return ever...

Moral is.....it's a bloody lovely world at times
