God I've gone all soft n miss my kids!

Saw a young lad of about 18 being packed off on the train carrying 2 big holdall's mum & dad wheeling a trolly each when dad looked as if he'd been maced!

Depends what frame of mind im in, sometimes i just cry constantly at the injustice of the world, i cry for children that are not cared for. This week ive really missed my son not being here and hes been left home four years. I cry at programmes where people are reunited, i cry at happy and sad things and i was born with the empathy to feel someone elses emotional pain. Funnily i rarely cry at anything that involves myself

I always get a lump in my throat every time I think about how cruel it was for my late partner's body and coffin that were sent to the cremetorium on their own without anyone to accompany them, because his son would not allow anyone to be there, and then he could not face up to it on the day of the funeral.

worst thing I ever saw and I'm debating with myself if I should share it

but on streets of NAirobi I was in a takeaway felt a tug on my shirt , looked down saw a 4 year old girl with a baby tied to her back with rags.. after a bit of time with them found out they were alone (along with a whole bunch of them - its very common in kenya) and the baby had his foot in bandages, I took a look and saw his toes had rotted off. turns out when they were begging for foofd some bastard had stood on the babys foot and the bad toes had just fell off over time as no one was there to take care of it. I seriously never forget those kids and I do get tearful from time to time despite it being over 7 years ago now.

buying them takeaways and giving tem money as I did does very little to solve the huge problem they have over there

Music! I love most of the powerful "Proms" stuff, especially the last night.

I also remember the "Goodbye" concert from the Seekers in July 1968. Yesterday I watched some tracks from that concert on You Tube and it made me very emotional! I had a crush on Judith Durham when I was a lad...

There are loads of things that make me emotional in a good way and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I cry when good things happen to people even in programmes. I am a wet blanket as feel other peoples pain and proudness.

A work collegues friend swam his 800m swim badge on Monday and it brough me to tears seeing him do it. His mum and I were chearing him on. That made me cry.

But most of all I cry when my son says something the totally shocks me and I see his pain and feel it as if it is my own.

I wonder how in gods name do I make it better. Then I can cry when he says something wonderful like your the best mum I could have asked for. Most mums shout at their kids and you dont.

I cry at many otheres things but not going to share those with you on here. My friends know tho xx

lots of things make me cry and have been a tad tearful recently

found myself on the brink of tears the pther day thinking how sad it would be if my dad died - he's not ill or anything but i jut couldnt help thinking of him dying

more recently i got chocked up when my 5 year old nephew told his mum that he eanted to do more around the house cos it wasnt irthat she did everything for him. he offered to do the dishes or the ironing

Right now- thinking that my Dad has to go for an ultrasound as he has an "irregularity" in his lungs (the old bugger will probably outlive us all) Apart from that....any little thing sets me off- I cried at some random woman giving birth on telly the other night....I don't even like kids!!!!!!!

November 5th, the day my beautiful wonderful mum died.

As she took her last breath the most enormous firework exploded in the sky. Every year at 8.30pm I set off a huge rocket for my mum. I'm terrified of fireworks, but it's for her.

lots of crying for me the last couple of years:

this time last year, my dog had to be put to sleep and i cried solidly for 5 days - he was family, not a pet

the breakup of my marriage in January after 10 years together - more sadness that a beautiful friendship no longer existed than anything else.

Finding myself since the marriage breakup - lots of fear and challenges so tears on and off.

Anger - I hit a point of anger that I don't scream and shout, I cry with frustration

A beautiful song - Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti gets me everytime, Adagio for strings as above, if feeling emotional REM's Nightswimming can have me sobbing even though it's one of my favourite songs

The song I walked down the aisle to

Miss American Pie (not the rubbish madonna version) and Young at heart by the Bluetones - both becuase a friend died of cancer at 16 and she planned her own funeral, she picked them to be played.

Christ - didn't realise I cried so much til I started writing it all down lol

I shall stop now
