I think it may be a tad naiive to think this won't descend into a mud slinging free for all. Politics will always polarise people, even swingers, may even rival the hairy vs shaven debates

Pretty much this, I started a topic about undecided voters and it's already become a red vs blue mass debate

First time ever, Labour. Their ideas that money from the top needs to trickle down rather than further and further cuts for the poorest in our society convince me that this is the way to vote

But having now experienced life under the tories, I will be tactically voting labour.

Maybe but the other lot just voted down protection for witnesses from official secrets act. Basically the govt still trying to cover up for Westminster pedophiles.

They also voted against strengthen ing the military covenant. When I did some research to decide who to vote for. I found the

tory voting record to be by far most repugnant. Think I would rather take my chances with a poison dwarf

Well before I decide I'll read all the manifestos, listen to all the debates, check the maths to see if the pledges can be funded, and consider what party best matches my values and beliefs.

Having carefully considered all of the above, then I'll vote for the hottest candidate with the biggest tits!

I vote for my local candidate, not in isolation from national parties, but they will represent me, so they must be fit for purpose.

Factors against atm include Conservatives who will implement £20 billions of cuts to in work benefits and support for disabled etc, but refuse to make it clear. That is disreputable to not be honest upfront if people may not afford to live and eat, due to plans where the detail is kept secret.

I'm open minded but expect honesty and trustworthiness, which is in some short supply overall amongst politicians.

I kind of want to vote.....have my say and all that.

But there isn't one single party I'd want running the country....not one. So I won't, it feels wrong voting someone in that I don't want in.

I shall happily get on with my life as the country does whatever it does around me.....
