I really do find it very amusing that unless you're one of the forum faithful, you can post whatever you wish on the forums, reply to as many posts as you care to reply to, but you will get little or no reaction ..

I will refrain from using the well trodden term 'clique' because in reality I don't believe that to be the case but I do think that unless you are part of the team, you are ignored in here .... and no I'm not new, I've been on the site for about seven years so I know what I'm talking about .......

I honestly don't like to look at it as a clique, but more like walking into a strange bar and expecting everyone to talk to you - of course they won't do that, but you'd think if you went into that same bar night after night, somebody would at least acknowledge you eventually .... but no, not here, I think you'd have more chance of storming the next meeting at your local Free Masons Lodge and being made welcome ..

Awww I'm not losing any sleepover it - as I say, I've been on her for almost 7 years, used the forums, left the forums, moderated the chat rooms, come back to the forums yadda yadda yadda but in all honesty unless your one of the crew ...........

I have a very happy and active life outside of here so this is no big issue - merely an observation

It seems to me that you can be any size of woman with any size if tits and you will get all sorts of requests and offers but as soon as your a big guy with an average cock size you get ignored unless your black,tall and have a cock the size of a horse..

Amen! The ego of the young ones is so irritating. In my experience they haven't got a clue (as you'd expect from someone so young) and it's almost guaranteed disappointment for the women who believed the hype.

Be a bit more humble, work on proving your skills rather than assuming we're all fawning over your inexperience.

I think the place is so full pf big characters it can be hard to get your voice across.....

I remember when I first joined the forums though....my very first post got over 100 replies

On the other hand, I went away and didn't use the forums much over last summer, when I came back on hardly and bugger responded to me...it was like starting over again...I put that down to lots of new faces appearing and some old ones dissapearing in my absence.

I think to be 'known' on here, you need to be on fairly consistantly, otherwise newbies come and go and folk get left out of the loop, rembered only by the most hardcore regulars......

You are right i haven't got a clue. But at the same time if i didn't put my self out there i would be lost in the faceless masses and would still have no experience. I imagine someone gave you a chance when you were young? People don't like if you can hold a conversation with them yet at the same time don't bother with time wasters. (Not directed at you per say). Also it is hard to judge someone via text on a screen. I sincerely hope i don't come off as cocky or in-humble with a massive ego but i can't guarantee how others will read my poetic and hysterical verses

I'd agree there are contributors to threads who are practically guaranteed to get a response but I wouldn't describe it as being in a clique, more like a group of friends/associates responding to each other, often with little in-jokes only they will understand. This is usually with folk who have met at socials and/or fucked each other.

If your posts are being ignored perhaps it's because you aren't saying anything that's interesting. Or maybe your one of those that repeat what has been said at least three times in the thread already.

If your posts are interesting, controversial, thought provoking, amusing or any combination of all four you'll get a response. If you're a boring sheep, unlikely.

Oh, exceptions are posts/threads by females looking for compliments. They'll always get replies.

most people here will have has as many posts fall flat on their arse as will have answered or replied to....

when i am answering in a thread, i am replying to a specific point in that thread... not to a poster as such.....

sometimes i think regular posters get a bad rap, but what some people dont always recognise are the relationships that have been built up behind those posts... the club visits, the socials, the emails.....

can't do right for doing wrong.... don't answer.... nasty pastys

do answer but not in the way the person wants... victim hounding

miss out a persons reply.... and you get the above opening post....

if you want light and fluffy... there are light and fluffy thread all across this place... i am sure they also have "there there there you go champ!"... and the bunting all laid out in them....

effort is very much a two way street, heck! reap the rewards if you can be bothered to... old adage time, you get out what you put in.... sometimes you don't always see what has been put in

Sometimes you will be - sometimes you won't. Yes, there is a strong clique, but sometimes even they get ignored! People are fickle when it comes to forum posting.....

To me you do. First there was the statement you expected to be in demand. Then there's describing yourself as a stud.

Why did you think you'd be in demand here? A lot of people don't want to fuck someone the same age, or younger than, their kids. Many prefer to meet people they have something in common with too. I have nothing in common with most people in their early-20s. Their outlook, their 'wavelength' tends to be totally different to mine. For me, as for many, it's not just sex; there needs to be a connection and you need to be able to have a conversation.

Plus a lot of younger guys are looking for a teacher, or just to tick 'older woman' off their 'to do' list. I don't want to be a teacher.

I want someone who knows exactly what they're doing without instruction. I'm past the rough jack-hammer pounding that a lot of young men think makes for good sex. I want the finesse that comes from experience.

Plus your reference to women as 'girls' on your profile is very off-putting. I doubt the majority of women on here consider themselves 'girls'. Are you a boy? Or do you consider yourself a man?

So, yes, sorry but you do come across as thinking you are something special, and women should be falling in your lap, just because you are young. The way you represent yourself suggests a lack of maturity and that we'd have nothing in common.

As for getting replies, I have at least as many posts which aren't replied to and threads that fall flat as I do posts and threads that get interest.

If you click my green arrow and look through my threads and posts, it's likely you'll find posts that didn't get a response and threads that died with few, or no, replies.

Partly it's about who is about when you make them and how interesting and comment-worthy they are. If you start a thread it's a bit dull for everyone if you fill up half the thread commenting on every post just to acknowledge it, and people tend to get fed up with you posting so much.

I post to say what I think. If a discussion results, great, but I don't post to get responses or feel popular. I have my say and move on to the next thread.

Why did you think you'd be in demand here? A lot of people don't want to fuck someone the same age, or younger than, their kids. Many prefer to meet people they have something in common with too. I have nothing in common with most people in their early-20s. Their outlook, their 'wavelength' tends to be totally different to mine. For me, as for many, it's not just sex; there needs to be a connection and you need to be able to have a conversation.

Plus a lot of younger guys are looking for a teacher, or just to tick 'older woman' off their 'to do' list. I don't want to be a teacher.

There's nothing that pisses me off, just a few things that might make women/couples think 'he's not for me'.

I'm too old for you anyway but, just a female perspective, I probably wouldn't meet anyone who described himself as a stud or wanted to meet 'girls'. Those things would suggest to me that we have totally different outlooks and it's unlikely there would be any middle ground or any connection.

Plus those that claim to be a stud, in my experience, usually can't deliver on that. Confidence is good but there's a fine line between confidence and bragging.

If you have been on here for ages and know what you are talking about you will know that the forum 'regulars' change quote often so your statement is not true. When I first came on here there were very different posters to who there are now.

To tell the truth I wasn't expecting any particular reaction and no it isn't a dig thread about anyone or anything - it was purely and simply an observation that I've made - nothing more, nothing less. What I'm trying to get across is this ..... some folks can post the biggest parcel of shite imaginable in the forums and their post and thread will be commented upon, quoted and requoted, whilst others can do exactly the same and the post or thread receives little or no attention. It isn't a moan and it isn't a gripe and it certainly isn't a cry for attention - as I've said I think twice in this thread, I've been on this site now for 7+ years and I've probably seen every moaning and griping thread under the sun on a variety of subjects and I've seen every kind of veiled dig thread under the sun ..... this is merely an observation.

I can only speak for myself, I post stuff and some of it gets a reaction, and some if it gets ignore. I read stuff and comment on something that interests me irrespective of who started the thread. Some folks will agree with me, plenty will disagree and all in all I enjoy my time here, maybe because I don't take Fab or myself too seriously.

Yes there are certainly groups of people that post regularly, respond to each others comments positively etc. I guess others who respond in the same thread can feel overlooked at times.

I have been on the forums a long while but I couldn't tell you the content of a lot of it as I tend to read the opening post, a few comments here and there and then post my reply if I'm interested. On many occasions I won't return to that thread as my interest has waned, therefore I wouldn't know if someone had responded to my specific comments or not. I'm not interested in whether anyone has acknowledged my words, I've said them, I've contributed how I've wanted to and that's it for me.

Some people think they are well known and their words and threads are memorable. I am only aware of those posters who have contributed in a way that's sparked my interest. I don't remember many usernames or their historical comments on threads. Some people do stand out to me, those that share a similar _iew and those that are poles apart from my _iews, I can agree and I can challenge, these people are memorable to me. I guess it's this way for others so it may not be that they are actively ignoring you but simply your comment hasn't initiated an interest to respond.

My _iew has always been read the forum, enjoy it, post what you like and don't get hung up on how others respond to you.
