Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Mushrooms but I have recently tackled it and eaten a dish full of wild mushrooms. I'm not planning to repeat the exercise and I still think they are evil but I didn't get sick or die.

Mine is snakes....I hate them and have no idea why. I'm that bad that I check the toilet and have to ensure bathroom door is always shut, even went through a stage of thinking they'd slither up the outside wall and in through an open window lol.

Water

I have no idea why, I dont recall having a bad experience with water as a child

I physically break into cold sweats and start shaking if I see pools etc

I doubt I'll ever over come it, I have had full on panic attacks in the past when people have tried to force me to go in, I have lashed out and really hurt people trying to make them let go of me

Moths and butterflies...I don't think I'll ever overcome it, I've been known to ask work colleagues to remove either from the workplace and last time I had to swipe one of those huge, hairy moths in my house (which the fecking cat brought in), I threw a tea towel on it, jumped up and down on it for a minute or two wearing my walking boots, put marigolds on to remove the remains into a new bin bag and then threw up in the loo...hopeless case

Used to be scared of spiders. Think it was learned behaviour because when i was little i loved bugs and watching them do their thing and i wasn't scared of spiders then.

I heamorraged and crashed once, not really been scared of anything since. Also have PTSD that's a lot better now, so don't really feel emotions like fear any more, they're blocked out.

I'm still not keen on creepy clowns but don't see many of those knocking about so it's ok, i don't need to get over that.

That reminded me of the time my snake went up the back of the fire

Had to get a guy from the gas board to come take my fire out to try and get the snake out

Noone told him when they sent him out he just had the job down as taking the fire out and cleaning it, when he took the fire off I got a heat lamp and put it infront of the fire to try and attract the snake, the guy asked what I was doing so I told him, he nervously looked up the back of the fire, made eye contact and said jesus how big is it, i said about 14 ft, he shot out the front door and refused to come and put the fire back on

Herts

I don't like spiders but I wouldn't say it was a phobia...

Slugs on the other hand... I get a bit of a cold sweat if I have to go out and it's dark and rainy. HATE the popping and the way your feet slide when you step on ones you couldn't see.

But don't have the same problem with snails... Go figure.

Poor guy. Think I'd have wet myself lol.

I took my daughter to meet some exotic animals just before Christmas, was happily stroking a meerkat to turn around almost face to face with a python. I did brave it and touch its tail after my daughter held it but I was shaking the whole time we were there.

They feel quite nice, they can get a little clammy if to cold but if at the right temperature I think they feel nice, really soft, they have a bad reputation but its unjustified in my opinion, I used to do volantry work at the local reptile rescue when I lived back home and foster the over spill at my home till the animals were rehomed, I love them but the look on some peoples faces when they came to my home made me realise not everybody shares my love

Hate heights...recently watched some videos of these russian dudes climbing cranes with no safety harness!!

Biggest fear is climbing a tall structure (like a crane) then having to climb back down...i'm taking out a mortgage for a helicopter rescue if i have too!
