Comedy is not lost on me. I have a very good sense of humour and appreciate all sorts of comedy, and did actaully quote your "tongue in cheek".

It was just a fair question in light of your politcal leanings. And it is quite easy to misinterpret things on forums as the true meaning can be lost without that face to face interaction.

Does she think in her wildest dreams any other country would want her, I mean what is she, what can she do? I shudder with embarrassment for her when she opens her vile, ignorant mouth.

I'll give Clarkson his due he has enthusiasm and he is proud of this countries manufacturing heritage and praises amazing achievements such as Concorde and wants its all back. And Top Gear is a damn good show.

The reason this country is on its knees is the outrageous spending and borrowing of the previous labour government. This current coalition government is finally getting the house back in order.

. How can you blame bankers or the tax legislation. We are competing in a world market and must be competitive and provide goods that foreign countries can buy at a reason price . When we see the number of people dricpving around in brand new cars and lots of unemployed being able to afford Sky TV packages I fail to see how anyone can say the country is on its knees .

Rubbish question

Their greed and poor regulations and zero accountability contributed to austerity cuts massively

They were playing Russian roulette with public money

And now we all are suffering

Wait until your job disappear and you're offered a zero hours contract

Wait until you're ill and are forced to sell your house to pay for health care that you've contributed to all your working life

Wait until you children and grandchildren owe thousands in university fees when most ruling the country got a free state education or Eton

Student loans are only repayable if. you earn in excess of a certain salary and in any event no one is compelled to go to University .

What's rubbish about the question....that you didn't answer?

The state bailed out failing banks... Do you agree the public money should have been spent doing this?

I reserve the right to not reply

Anyway

About Jeremy Clarkson MP lol

"The reason this country is on its knees is the outrageous spending and borrowing of the previous labour government. This current coalition government is finally getting the house back in order."

I agree giving out all that money to the banks, big companies and all that printing money.

Should have let them crash and burn, taken the short term pain and started again.

Remember those rich bankers?

Very few of them socialists

May I ask.... Did you agree to the government bailouts of the banks..?

Should they have been allowed to fail..?

. When you say cuts , where exactly are these and what impact if any have they had on members of the public. ? Student loans are only repayable if. you earn in excess of a certain salary and in any event no one is compelled to go to University . Anyone concerned about losing their home to pay for care home fees could have taken out an insurance policy to cover these fees when. they were younger . "

This gave me a really good giggle. A slightly hysterical one. You didn't read the post properly did you? Also do you really need to have it made explicit exactly how cuts affect the public? I can give you a number of examples of how cuts have affected my family, my friends and the people who I work with.

Sorry OP can't stand Clarkson so no I'd rather he was never in a position of more power. However I do kind of get your point. Now if Labour got in and Katie Hopkins and Clarkson left the country, I would be out canvassing for Labour every day!

I certainly don't agree they should have been bailed out, and if they failed they failed, propping them up has made the situation worse. Its created zombie banks and zombie corporations that owe so much debt that even a small rise in interest rates would destroy them. They should have just let it happen let the economy correct and start again, this time with competent people in charge, not a bunch of suited freeloaders who've never taken a risk with their own money in their life.

If you work as a manager for a big company, if it was your company and your money would you run it that way?

. Another point to remember is that most people who are members of a pension scheme will have money invested either directly or indirectly in bank shares and as such were dependent on the dividend streams from banks to fund their retirement . In addition banks employ at least 250,000 people in the UK.

Zombie in the sense that they're dead and only kept walking through QE and zero interest rates.
