Over the last week or two I've been out partying and eating junk!

Its starting to take its toll on my digestive system and I haven't felt right in a few days.

I've done some reading up on the internet about short term (1-2 days) cleanse/detox diets.

I've read about the following;

1)Salt Water Flush

2)Lemon, Water, Maple Syrup and Cayenne Pepper Detox

3) Vitamin C Flush

Has anybody ever tried any of the above or any other cleanse/detox programs?

Were they effective?

Any side effects?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The best thing you can do for your system is to drink lots of plain, fresh water and eat unrefined slightly bland meals for a few days.

What foods should I avoid?

Meat, dairy, eggs.....?

What can I eat, raw fruit and veg?

yup! plain water or add a slice of lemon, no processed foods, I tend to stick to raw/blanched veg for 2-3 days, 6 small meals, then add in grilled chicken or fish for 2/3 more.

no caffeine or fizzy drinks.

Central

Think of food you may eat after being unwell. Nourishing coups, light meals and small portions.

Your body is fully able to detox itself, it just sounds like you need to curtail excess and stuff that will stress your body.
