I have always wanted to try an eating challenge! Has anyone out there done this? If so when and where?

Herts

I was going to say, I don't think Nan Vs Food would be much of a challenge.

Mine struggled to finish a single bacon sarnie...

I thought this was another reality tv show

Channel 5 would be interested surely!

OP I've never tried one but I'm a sucker for a desert and would think I'd want desert afterwards and that probably would be the big fail

Glasgow

One of my friends is doing one on Saturday...

Some huge (5lb or 6lb) burger thing with all sorts on it...

Gets 2 hours to eat it. If he does he gets it free... If not it costs him £40 or £50

I think he's mental but he's convinced he'll do it

2 hours!

Man vs food only gets half hour and that includes an ad break!

I love watching him eat. I can't believe he can put so much food in his stomach in such a short time.

Reputation for hollow legs and stubbornness has raised a few eyebrows in the past.

Got banned from a Pizza place in the 80's because we did their "Beast" challenge as a starter

18x24" and 6lb in weight - eat it all and you don't pay. They got annoyed....

Nan eats and farts uncontrollably or so she makes out due to the food. A dead heat as far as I can see.

This made me giggle, I had this version of my Nan's - 87 and 88 trying to eat loads of fast food. It would take hours if it was heaped up like the guy on the programme has! They'd be there for a week. Plus I can't imagine them drinking out of a polystyrene cup with a straw as they like proper bone china cups.
