Radio 4 in the morning, or pm in the evening. Not much beats the desert-dry Eddie mair or the today programme. Ace

I listen in the car. Radio 1 when I'm pootling about during the day, radio 2 on long evening/late night drives and radio 4 when the world is annoying me and I need calm intelligence to soothe me - unless it's the archers in which case it's whatever cd I have to hand!

I can't stand adverts on the radio.

Titz Towers, North Notts

The Home Service.

I'm looking forwards to the Paul Temple mystery on Friday at 11.30, as they have all of the original 1948 effects and I feel they add a touch of class to the production.

He's brilliant. I want to see his full show, where he does Ian De Montfort and finishes as Tom Binns
