Mandatory verification

Who else is truely sick of the fakes on here? I believe that photo verification should be made mandatory to end the time wasted chatting to sad little fakes. I understand some ppl wish to keep an extent of privacy and may not wish to post photo's for the public but as we all know verification photos do not require posting. I believe there should be a 1 week deadline to verify yourself before losing your account.

That said, I do actually agree that mandatory verification of some sort is a good thing.

Well i think the fact that we are webcam verified several times goes as far as photo verification. The only methjod of verification i would question is phone as what can you tell from a voice? And as for how can i prove there are fakes on here, come on dont act so deluded its common knowledge.

There are fakes and timeswasters in all walks of life so it'd be surprising if there weren't any here.

As for verification by others - there's posts elsewhere suggesting it's open to abuse and probably isn't a worthwhile guide to anything.

I'm not deluded...

Yes there are fakes on here,most of us can spot them a mile off,we do the usual early fem/fem phone call ect,soon s out the fakes.

We have been on here for 4 yrs and can honestly say we have only had a cpl of fakes and that was in the early days of being on here.

The deluded part wasnt intended for yourself it was for the person requesting proof that fake ppl exist

I was messaged last night by two different accounts, one male one female, different ages, living in different areas.

Strangely both he and she had the same fireplace and decor.

Both accounts gone this morning!

I find it laughable on the one hand but deceitful too, however I just see it as all part of the swinging game, shake my head and move on.

Photo verification requires you hold a sign stating specific text to prove its yourself.

You will always as others have said that there is time wasters but block them and move on as for being verified on cam no big deal,, we read the ones that have been verified via meeting others.

We like everyone else on here had our fair share of being let down but we keep on going have met lovely people on here

Thats true but you cannot be verified using the same IP address ( but always a way round that )

it is easy to out as in giving a contact number out to chat that way you will know for sure if it's either a single female or a couple and not a guy letting on to etc

Verification by webcams a load of tosh anyway. I had a guy cam with me years ago who was pretending to be a woman! She had great legs and dressed very sexy just a shame "she" had an Adams apple as well !!!

We find a chat on the phone is so much better than a pic, what can you tell from a voice?:?? you can usually tell the woman talking is actually a woman for starters!!

Web cam verifications can be dubious too.... Have seen people playing video over their cam... Purely to get verified. One would raise the question, why if the OP has met people in person, why they not got verifications to show this?

Like any profile, if you don't like it, or the lack of any verification, just move on by as I'm sure many already do.

Another point to make and has been made before on the forums that even you have been verified and say you have arranged a meet and at the very last minute that the person(s) had to pull out are they wasters ? think about it that it could be a family thing had came up ,, so many reasons people have to pull out.

So bottom line is quite simple if you think someone is taking the piss then block them and move on

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Plenty of users re-upload their verification pic for public view.

Plenty of people on the internet take pics of themselves holding random signs.

Photoshop can be VERY convincing.

So pic verification can be got around.

One lady on another thread refused to verify a man after a coffee meet as she wouldnt see him again.

If I didnt verify the person I was meeting as I may never meet them again then would have not verified 3/4 of meets.

If you meet a person and they are the person in the pictures on the profile then why not say they are.

To say I am not going to verify them as may not see them again seems to say the person is only real if he wants to meet me again!

There have been threads here, in the past, that show many people regard cam verifications as little better than no verification.

There are levels of everything, this is important to understand. There are people on this site who'll view you in the way you view those you complain about.

Well, yes, this is a swinging website and generally I think it's fair to say that swinging is actually meeting someone in the flesh. Any other form of verification is pointless, with regards to swinging.

Just being photo verified will never mean you are for real.

Ha ha ha, you tell me to get real, your the one that cant tell a fake profile from a genuine one, anyone with an ounce of intelligence can spot a fake profile. Your the one that only has webcam verifications not me. If you think a profile is fake, report it, move on simples instead of whinging on about it

Erm....cos that was the point in your original post.... that everyone should be photo verified, or do you think you are special and dont need that enforced photo verification?

And as I said above.... if you have had real meats in person (a social or a play meet) then why dont you ask them people to verify you.... looks better than webcam verifications.

People have been known to play videos over the web cam, and people have been fooled by this into leaving verifications. What is to say you haven't done this?

We have been on the site for two years, have made freinds, have several verifications (Social or Play meets) but are not photo-verified, does that mean we are fake? Course it doesn't, any verification given is just one of many tools for the prospective viewer of our profile to decide on whether we are real and so worth meeting, or to pass us by.

Purely Webcam verifications, to us, mean that the couple involved may well be real but maybe better suited to been on a webcam show site.

Just my 2 cents, no offence intended.

I’m afraid being subjected to more mandatory anything…. Just fills me with an urge to summon the next passing spaceships and get to fuck off this planet….. The option to use freedom of choice in so called civilised country is continually being eroded with more and more rules and regulations intended to govern our actions on increasingly mind-numbingly mundane issues….FFS ….. I’ve always regarded swinging as an escape from the conventional restrictions and controlling mindsets…. then again…. I’m usually in the wrong……. But hey, Its what I do best…. As for the rest of humanity…. Who’s got so little to worry about they need a new rule imposing in a ludicrously attempt to supposedly make it easier to tell whether someone is fake or not on a swingers site……. Cheats are inventive by nature…. Making it harder for them to hide would inevitably make it harder for us to spot them…. Perhaps,,,, have a nice day…. Rant over…

yes so why ask about chatting to only cam verified ppl? this thread was not just about a specific method of verification i used photo as it seems most straight forward method of verifying new profiles.

A few weeks ago we met a couple of guys who had been on here over a yr no veri's,they were very real,a couple of the nicest guys we had met of this site x

I agree and have mentioned this on other posts in the past.

Profiles that have been on the site for a certain amount of time with no veri's, pics that look like they are from Nutz, loads of friends, one line profiles... to name but a few of the many tools we all use to out people that we are not going to be interested in. Start enforcing any of these then the fakes etc will just get more inventive and make it harder for us to spot them.

The site gives us all the chance to block messages from un-verified people, those with no pics and those that are new. Use them, along with your own nose.

Get a free SIM card, bang on £5 top up and use that to speak to folk at an early stage. Even the refusal by some to recieve an incoming call can out all sorts of issues (Wife at home, male pretending to be a male, list is endless) and you just pass on by and find another profile from the thousands on here.

You have suggested that everyone should be photo verified to out the fakes, yet you are not photo verified and suggest the fact you are webcam verified should prove you are who you say you are.

If you believe webcam verification should be good enough for people looking at your profile... why not just apply the same for the people you chat to?

Why the need to impose 'do this or else' on everyone else when you seem to think you already have the answer of what is good enough for you.

What exactly is a fake person anyway?

Is it someone you arrange a meet with and when they turn up they aren't anything like their description or is a fake person someone who talks the talk but refuses to meet at the last minute?

I'm just puzzled as to what the faker gains from the exercise as the fakeness will be revealed before any playing takes place or am I missing something? LOL

I can't read through every post ~BUT

The only way that FAB can verify that I am me is by coming to my home and taking the pic themselves.

If I send them one of someone else they really don't know that ...... now do they?
