"Had trackers in all of our vehicles for the last ten years! Done for insurance purposes. Management agreed with Trade Unions they could use tracker records to discipline staff. However, two members of staff were suspected of repeatedly leaving work early and it "just happened" that a supervisor happened to passing their homes and saw work vehicle parked on the driveway ....... Going to suggest that if you don`t give your bosses reason to check you, they usually leave you alone. If you give them grief then they`ll be ready with anything! Cetainly seems to be the case with me *whistles* " Correction - Management agreed with Trade Unions that tracker records COULD NOT be used to discipline staff. | |||

" significant reductions in insurance? one off expense versus ongoing long term expense? hopefully improved efficiency/performance offsetting the cost? would you be considerably more productive after a pay rise to offset the cost? | |||

If you are following the companies guidelines for use of vehicles you have nothing to worry . In certain scenarios they can work to your advantage . eg. if you were accused of an accident in an area that you were not in.. | |||
