It's official, I don't know how to send first messages any more. Sometimes I even write one out, then delete it and don't even bother messaging the person I was about to message.

I think for me it boils down to the fact that if it's a physical attraction more than anything else, the only thing in my arsenal is some form of compliment. But who wants a compliment? "Nice tits"? "Adequate flange"? Women get a gazillion compliments every day, so it's like pissing in the wind basically.

With that being said, I don't just message anyone, sometimes I'm encouraged by nice pictures, then I roll my eyes at the profile text which is one line long, or two if I'm lucky. It's the ones that have a good profile who I message, but I just can't seem to reference anything in their profile when I message. "Oh, I see you like sex. I like sex too. We have so much in common!".

I don't know, maybe I'm losing my touch. Maybe I never had it in the first place. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe I should just get a hooker.

I suspect the OP would go down quite well at a social actually - I quite like his sense of humour although I suspect others may not.

Guess whilst good old Dorset has some lovely scenery it's a bit sparse on swingers clubs - so my best suggestion would be for Mr Ego to plan some trips.

Sod worrying about messages. People of all genders have been seeking the holy grail of the perfect message for an eternity.

I think I read the other day on a thread that you get loads of messages from women so you should be fine.

My advice for what its worth though is this..... Keep it short and sweet but make a least some reference to the profile where possible. Ie. I see you're looking for a tall man with a six pack that accommodates daytimes and I think I fit the bill. Would you like to chat more to see if we'd be compatible. Also add any "code word" which may be mentioned and send a photo, especially if requested.

I think that just shows you have read and are responding genuinely because you believe you fit their criteria and are respecting their wishes, not because they are the only woman online in your area at that moment

This is a problem for me and a lot of other guys. If the lady has a decent profile that you can get something from then fine. I always read the profile as some women won't meet married men even with consent or if they are asking for something I'm not, nothing pisses off my wife when she gets a message from someone who hasn't.

Saying "hi how are you?" doesn't do much and a subject that says "hi" is defo going to get missed. I know I've not bothered to message a lady if there profile is "fill in later" or "just ask" just because I can't think of a message at the time! And if i do she's not online and when she does come back on I'm somewhere in the 80 odd unread messages lol . So to sum up read profile, make the subject interesting and keep fingers crossed.

The msg I'd send you two would be this, hi having read your profile you don't need to alter it in anyway. Very rarely do we come across a couple profile that ticks the boxes about the way you feel about what we do "having different icing" is a great way to explain it lol (may even nick it lol) great pic's that don't show everything inside and out! A well writen and well presented profile with two good looking people to boot and give us a wink on wickedxxx
