Ok folks, so what's the best thing about where you live ?

The nightlife, shopping, countryside, or people ?

Where I live it's the countryside, hills, woodlands and beaches.

Where I work, a vibrant city, history, not too big and not too small

South East Midlands NOT

Lovely rolling hills, peace and quiet, a wildlife sanctuary on my doorstep, lovely riverside walks and only 40 mins from central london on a train.

We are a quaint South Devon seaside town. A small fishing fleet still works out of here. Nice long beach. Some great pubs. Good live music scene. Lots of restaurants. Very friendly natives.

I love my town!

Where I am RIGHT NOW is in the Arse End of nowhere.

My town at home is by the Sea and the air has a fresh concoction of Sea salt and herbal exhaust pipe.

If you like toothless, six-toed inbreds come visit Coalville. The jobcentre is where all the daytime action occurs then, in the evening, the townsfolk enjoy nothing better than a fight and a spot of mugging....

Birmingham

Birmingham the gateway to the north. Home to UB40, Black Sabbath, ELO, Duran Duran and Ocean Colour Scene. The Bullring. The second city. The third largest St Patrick's Day Parade outside of Dublin and NY. Home to Tolkien and the setting for much of Lord of the Rings! X-rays were invented here. More miles of canal than Venice!

Oh and me! I am here too.

Bristol

Great shopping, wonderful public art, quirky and colourful people, fantastic bars, clubs, pubs and live music and a cosmopolitan city with a community sensibility. Where I'm originally from is pretty amazing as well if you like a millenia of history and architecture and glorious countryside. Plus Bristol is a euphemism for boobs - what's not to love about that?!
