Watching it on TV, got the DVD and another version (better version in my opinion) and got a DVD from the History Channel which is a Documentary about the epic battle.

I tried to watch 300 last night for the first time, looking forward to a bit of violence and shagging.

I think I watched about 10 mins and couldn't watch any more it was like a pop video of a film of a story. Lot's of posturing, posing and mood scenes.

I could feel myself getting irritated at it's patronising simplicity.

What a disappointment.

If you can put aside the rippling torso's and men in trunks i would recommend Sin City which is made by the same team who made 300.
