Well,

for my car licence I got 13 minors

then truck I got 10 minors

then tank licence 3 minors

all passed before I was 21, so I improved with age.

HOWEVER, recently sat a UK matrix test....

they never taught me about TRAM signals and stuff when I did my licences

I reckon I would FAIL

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

When I took my theory and hazard perception discs into work and let everyone have a go there were a few very tense and annoyed people there

Everyone thought they would do well and everyone failed....with a little practice they would have done okay but a few rules have changed in 10 years and not everyone knew them.

If nothing else it did make people think about how they would do if they needed to retake their tests and hopefully some did a little reading up on their Highway Code

100% lol I've picked up other habits, but if you haven't then you're probably a terrible driver lol You learn to pass a test... As long as you know how you should do it to pass the test it really isn't that hard, passed the motorcycle theory test mock exam online without needing to look up the highway code... It isn't hard!

I'd pass but then there's a fair amount of "extra stuff" for which I've had to sit tests for and undertake training and given training so massively different to 1988 when I took them originally.

"100% on both recently passed my hgv that's twice as hard as car"

I found the C & C+E Licence easier than the B licence, then the H licence was easiest, people tend to move out the way of a tank

Titz Towers, North Notts

Probably not. Not for anything outrageous, like my brother jumping a red light on his first test, but probably for something daft like parking on someone's drive instead of reverse parking.
