I had a guy contact me 40 mins ago, a newbie who had been on site 50 mins, the typical full of himself guy who when he got a no came back with well if you go on msn and see what I look like you will drop all your other contacts, again he got a no, the next message I ignored and went for a bath, when I logged on again "user no longer on site" is this a new record an hour and a halfs membership lol

did your 'no' run into more than 2 letters?

It may be a record, but i've sent three guys of the site in a week...is that a record?

Nope - A guy messaged us last night (after joining last night) and within 40 minutes from sending us the message, was no longer on the site. I hadn't even read it lol

No he got a full explanation why I wouldn't meet him, one of those guys I think that thought he would have a meet within minutes of joining and was sorely disappointed & threw his toys out of the pram lol

I switched my message filter of the other week so a certain person could message me and i forgot. I had a message from a guy who had been on the site for 3hrs. To paraphrase his message it said, (no hi or anything) heres my phone number xxxx if you ring me you can then verify me. Soon put the filter back up

May I ask a question? I've noticed a few ladies say that you've blocked 'newbies'. When is a newbie no longer a newbie? is there a period of time that needs to elapse before you're no longer classed as one? I've been on here for around 3 months now, so am I classed as a newbie still?

Newbies are usually 7days and less. After 7 days you can post on the forums and get by the newbie block message filter

Your no longer a newbie

I think when you block newbies, they are blocked for a week from when they have joined.

But if you have been trying to email people and you are blocked could be that they have single guys blocked from contacting them x

Ah ok, thank you. Don't THINK I've been blocked, I've sent a few messages recently that haven't been read yet (maybe that counts as a single guy block!) but at least I can now feel like a full time member of the Fab family!
