That's because the moon takes 28 days to rotate "one day" and 28 days to rotate around the earth.

Hence the dark side of the moon

The only other interesting fact I know about the moon landing is the first man on the moon obviously Neil Armstrong and his famous quote one small step for man one giant leap for mankind.

But the third man on the moon was the little known Pete conrad and his less well known quote while climbing down the ladder.

Whooppee that may have been one small step for Neil but that's a big leap for me.

I think he was the joker as nasa
