Nope you are not alone.

We have scrapped several white goods that were sparklingly clean when they went to the recycling plant.

My ex once cleaned and cooker before I took it to the council recycling centre!

It looked better going into the skip than it did coming out of its original box!

What a bloody woman!

I do it as well

the thing that bugs me the most is the amount of people that leave cookers full of grease and expect you to move them and fit the damn things in

Only if it was usable. Otherwise nah I wouldn't. I took great delight in attacking an old dishwasher with a baseball bad before I left it on the pavement. Just seemed immensely satisfying to give it a right good kicking!

I never do half a job i'd have you know. Window cleaning an all. Why you got that many windows anyway? It's hard enough reaching when i'm on a ladder. That's just me asking for trouble.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Reading this thread I'm beginning to think I am the odd one now.

I wouldn't clean the fridge or cooker if it's being scrapped. Usually just leaving it on the doorstep it's gone in five minutes.

I don't clean before the cleaner or window cleaner comes. If I could be bothered I wouldn't need the cleaner.

I might straighten the bed in an hotel but I wouldn't make it.

I don't stack the plates when eating out.

I've just read all of that back and I'm a princess.
