Microsoft have comfirmed that their new browser, codename 'Spartan', will not be called Internet Explorer and ending the brand.

Whilst most of us know that IE is the best browser to use when downloading a new browser, seems a shame that this relic of the online era will be going the same way as hotmail and msn.

In case you're wondering, the 1st release was August 16, 1995

havent gone near it in 10 years
