To read the press nowadays (main steam and alternative) you could be forgiven for believing there is a conspiracy to cover up child abuse involving members of parliament and royals.

Though if you do fall into the trap of believing this you may be referred to as a conspiracy theorist.

I can well believe it.

Colin Wallace was set up on a murder charge and served 10 years after he tried to blow the whistle about a similar ring that served the political and judicial members of Belfast around the same time.

Read the book that Paul Foot wrote about it or watch the documentary that eventually showed Wallace was totally innocent.

I was surprised to see the Elm Hotel finally mentioned in the papers. If the stories out there are to be believed, some pretty nasty goings on with the great and good and a copy of the guest list doing the rounds that will have some MPs and certain musicians VERY nervous.

We may find out about those involved who are now dead, the living will use super injunctions to keep their names out of the press until they are finally charged. Following the Leveson Inquiry the press are very reluctant to report anything. The Leveson Inquiry was more than just about phone tapping and celeb stories it has hampered serious investigative journalism
