birmingham nec hotels

Hi we are going to gadget show in April what hotels are either near NEC or city centre that are reasonably priced ?

Have a look at the Ramada Encore, it is only 5 minutes walk from Birmingham International train station, reasonably price around £50 a night. I (him) work nearby and some work colleagues have stayed there before, all said it was good value.

Any Prem or Travelodge in the city will be easy to get to the NEC by train...

Travelodge in Bullring for example

And also near to the BBB if it's on and your thang

We went to the Gadget Show Live and stayed at the Crowne Plaza NEC.

It's right next to the NEC and very easy to get to. It was a good hotel too.

The idea is to go to NEC during the day and city centre in the evening as we have not been .

Go for the Novotel right next to the airport. It's good and clean and cheap. They discount parking too. All you then need to do is grab the monorail to the NEC.

You're not missing much. Although the area around the symphony hall, library and canals is very nice for a day/night away. The Hyatt is a nice hotel.

Just avoid broad Street as its full of kids out on the piss. There are some nice bars opening try gas street social in the mailbox and there are a few nice places in the Arcadian. There is a new bar opening on temple street that is meant to be awesome.
