FORUM USERS/NON-FORUM USERS

Is it just me or are forum users more reliable than non-forum users when it comes to chatting, making plans and generally being more honest and trustworthy?

Might just be a coincidence, but I have definitely seen a pattern emerge. I suppose you build a reputation for yourself in the forums and a rapport with other users which helps matters.

No really. I've been let down once and she was a forum member.

All my non-forum member meets have been fine

The only bloke who I've ever been stood up by was a regular forum poster (not here any more) so the theory doesn't hold with my experience.

Most of my meets have come through having my Web cam on in the chat rooms, though I have met many forum users at socials, clubs and parties I can't think of a single personal meet as a result of using the forums

Certainly not , we have only met one or two forum users and both by chance .

On the many occasions forum users have chatted with us , it's soon become clear that it was just talk and not action .

The one bad meet I had was a previous forum user....

One of the best runs of meets I had was with a forum user.....

People are people wherever you find them,

Having said that, there are a small number of forum users I hope to meet still.

I've not been let down and rarely meet forum users so based on that I'd say non forum are more reliable.

I've not been let down by anyone forum or otherwise, not yet anyway.

Have to say I do rather like meeting fellow forum users, the messaging seems to flow pretty well.

I think most of us who are honest and do meet, kind of get pissed off at the quality of people we're meeting (liars, bullshitters, etc), dump our inbox and come on the forums coz it is more fun.

Just my opinion. Being honest too. Most people who use forums tend to be opinionated and have strong personalities, which makes them less likely to be flakey and vague. But you can see by the type of topics made on here there are plenty of fakes, flakes and desperados.

I completely disagree with that...I'm not pissed off at all with the quality of guys I meet. I only use the forum for entertainment. it's very rare there is anyone that uses the forum that I want to meet....they are just as likely as anyone else to be flaky.

I enjoyed them at the time, just get sick of begging messages or them coming across as desperate, as well as some of the bullshit guys come out with or do as well. Have realised i've met way too many guys to keep on top of this and should have paced myself a bit, but if guys aren't free every day then obviously i'm gonna end up adding more guys to the people i meet. I'll figure out a balance but right now for me i'm taking a break, seeing guys as a bit shit and pathetic right now as well so heading a bit more towards my dominatrix side where guys don't mind being told they are pathetic and shit.
