Bristol pubs

Thanks for everyone who replied about the live music venues in Bristol my new question is what are the best bars that are not just full of students and young people?

I have nothing against students and young people but do like a pub with women around about my own age (44) any help would be great cheers.

Head up Gloucester Road just off the city centre, absolutely rammed with different bars/pubs for everyone's tastes..

Personal favourite is blue lagoon just past the Sainsburys about halfway up!

The Gallimaufry just past The Blue Lagoon is better.
