Anyone see this story?

Indian bride walked out of her wedding after the groom failed to solve a simple maths problem!

"The bride asked the groom to add 15 and six. When he replied 17, she called off the marriage."

this is what happens when taking off your shoes and socks to count isn't enough....

mind you there are places in norfolk and suffolk there they would have been able to answer that correctly!!!

One of my relatives, by marriage, would have been able to use fingers and toes to get the right answer to 15 plus 7.

Arranged marriage to an illiterate man. I absolutely don't blame her.

At least she's one of the sensible ones in her family :/

Haha I would do the same. Looks and personality count for a lot but if you're as thick as two short planks I'm going to get bored easily

ok maybe i'm being stupid here.. but people are banding words like 'stupid' around

It may be a relatively simple question but we are forgiving of those who have Dyslexia.. is there a maths equivalent perhaps for those who just dont see/understand mathmatics?
