at collage.... no one spoke to me

i think they dont like a girl on the course the wankers lol i felt like a right loner lol hope it gets better

aint gonna give up tho there to learn a trade not make friends lol

You will find if they are all guys they will become more chatty as the course goes on. Stick with it, get your trade and you won't look back.

Good on you!

The trade is very male-dominated for certain.

However, the demand for ladies who can do plumbing, electrical works and DIY is on the rise, as they are more honest and better finishers than their male equivalents etc...

So you'll be in demand for certain.

They're probably in shock

It will get better ive done a few courses on my own in the past few years and most people have turned out to be a right laugh

No-one likes the first full day of a new course xxx

Often you will find a group of men feel self concious and at times intimidated by a lone female. They are not sure how their peers will react to how they interact with you. Often as in your case they feel its better to say nothing at all.
