The land of grey peas and bacon

Was there a trigger at that point in time. We may kid ourselves that we are feeling great but our body is thinking something different. Hope you feel better

You may have been holding your breath in your sleep. Did it happen as you woke up?

Well then at that point you wasn't feeling so great so your body went into panic mode because of the coughing fit. Just sit down and take 10 long slow deep breaths in and out

It's a horrible feeling. Sugary tea helps! Or a biscuit or 4! Just take it easy x

Brown paper bag time.

Can't breathe, and then making it worse by panicking because you can't breathe, there's nothing more scary than that.

Some attacks can make me feel terrible all day as it releases adrenaline into your heart. I get extra stomach acid too which feels prickly and makes my nerves bad all day. I cry, shake, sweat and vomit as my heart races and I think I'm going to die. It's irrational but very difficult to control once it goes past a certain point. I use a breathing technique I learned at the hospital,to breathe in and out through each nostril as you hold the opposite one in. It works if you catch it in time. You panic and hyperventilate because of the CO2/Oxygen mix in the base of your lungs becoming too oxygen rich. The breathing helps get this back to normal. It's a physical thing that you can control.

Do you drink a lot of tea? The caffeine is a stimulant. I can overdo my tea intake and become very edgy
