Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

A programme about the history of agony aunts on BBC4 now.

Has anyone ever contacted one (not the Fab threads)?

Indeed.

The programme is quite interesting - it was all pretty frank in 1690. The corset debate and lots of sex quite quickly after that.

It's like a trip down memory lane of agony aunts: Marge Proops and Claire Rayner.

Rayner is demonstrating how to put on a condom.

Jackie comic 1977

How do I kiss a boy?

If only I knew what trouble kissing boys would bring

Jackie was ace. Cathy and Clare.

I got my advice from a book called the Little Red Book - it was very frank and I think my parents would have had a conniption fit if they had seen it.

The programme has just revealed that Cathy and Clare didn't exist! They were a range of junior reporters.

SEA

I like Mrs Mills from the Sunday Times - this is one of hers

I am thinking about giving my boyfriend oral sex. I’ve never done it before, and wonder what is the best way to go about it. LC, Weymouth

Practise. Take a medium-sized banana and push it into your mouth until you gag, while breathing in an increasingly panic-stricken fashion through your nose. Isn’t it fun?

You don't expect that in a broadsheet

My father used to buy The Mirror so she was my favourite until I bought Cosmopolitan and discovered Irma Kurtz.

I'm googling Philippa Perry, saw her on something the other day and can't remember what it was. I like her.
