When does it change?. You spend the first few years discipling your children then before you know it its role reversal.

I'm always telling my mum off and my son has started telling me off. just had a bollocking off him now

My 6 year old son has made me pinky promise not to embarrass him when we were out (the night before he turned 6)

I still made him get up and dance with his old embarrassing mum... lol

ha, when my son got to about 13 he wouldn't be seen in the street with me they soon come back and yes happy to give me a cuddle in the street, but it makes me laugh getting a bollocking

I'm really not looking forward to that stage. I love the fact he still holds my hand, and I get a cuddle and a kiss every morning when I drop him at school in the playground. He's a really affectionate wee boy.

its a teenage thing, but as I said they come back.

hahahah, yeah, we're at the side by side cuddle stage - he's already 4ft 4 and a kick in the arse off 4.5 stone... i'm only 5ft 4 on a tall day! hahah

we went through the side by side cuddle right up to his teens then all of a sudden I was too much of an embarrassment to be seen with

My mum and dad still look after me at 35 but I'm always trying to make them more street wise they are too trusting for their own good and often get walked over by some people.
