147 cut off number

It seems that when a post reaches 147 it gets closed.

I wondered why so low and who decided on this amount?

It never used to be and it was 175, and endless before that. Ask the wizard.

Server space is valuable. If it's not been said by post 175 it's not worth saying. If it's going to go on all day and night talk on Whatsapp,you obviously want to be friends

Why the change?

I see same posts week after week about some stuff yet sometimes the old post is closed. Seems silly to limit posts, unless storage costs are an issue for fab

I fear that you may be confusing FAB with a Snooker maximum break, - but to achieve that in snooker, you have to resist the pink & brown albeit insisting on nothing but black!
