Reading profiles as you do with a view to meeting people and came across one that was way wrong as far as we can see.

Basically they are advertising for single guys, fair enough. But then go on to say they will be booking hotels away from home on a weekend, the single guy if he wants to play with them will have to pay for their room for the weekend!

Nothing like organising weekends away and getting somebody else to pick up the tab for you!

If your stopping with them then it would be fair to go Dutch 50/50'or 60/40 even but to pay for it all

No worse than some of the things I have seen the odd single female ask for:

- Expecting to be wined and dined... including what meal they will be ordering.

- Specifying the spec/standard of hotel they expect to be taken to.

- Asking for lifts to and from clubs (for her and a friend)

Oh and after some dumbo has spent several hours in the car getting there being told "oh by the way I am an escort".... just to see if the walking erection will stump up some cash in hand...

Its one of the reasons we dont like hotels very much - not that we mind paying, but it always raises that issue. When you meet people for a fun evening ... I hate discussing money, full stop.

But... if we have to... things should be equal in today's emancipated world, if I was dating as s single female I most certainly would not expect the man to pick up the entire bill. In fact I would find it offensive and quite patronising.

There are always low lives in every community that would take advantage of other people's generosity.

I took advantage of the Travelodge room sale recently, and have bagged a couple of cheap rooms, at very affordable 12.50 GBP each.

This way, I am in charge of when and where I want to meet, without any pressure from anyone.

Don't see the point of staying at more luxurious hotels, when all I need is a bed and an en-suite shower with WC!

As for food, I don't like eating too much before playing anyway.

Perhaps I just don't like stringing people along or to take them for a ride!

yeah I like to do the riding too, but I don't mind sharing turns.

Correction: "fools"!! Although I haven't met any yet.

I don't do hotels: ever, and it says so on my profile. I have men contacting me, asking if I'll make an exception. When I say OK, the Dorchester or Hilton Park Lane, plus limo to and from, I never hear from them again!

I love budget hotels, as I don't like tidying up my house to receive guests, even though I love cooking and entertaining.

Since my local budget hotel is just down the road, I could prepare nibbles from home and bring them there to make the meet a bit extra special.
