I have a cam which I am trying to use on MSN

I can see me, can see and hear the other person, they can hear me but not see me

Any of you wonderful people got any ideas

sounds like the settings at their side but could be wrong!!

sometimes switching off and loggin out then in resets it xx

Yep, closed the comp down

deinstalled and reinstalled software, hit it, swore at it, see above and all to no avail

When this has happened to me I've needed to quit out of msn. Turn cam off then on THEN start up msn again.

I think with MSN messenger you both need to have at least 4.4 version or something.

Its possible that the person your trying to cam is using Windows live messenger or vice versus?

Go into your options menu on msn, under 'personal' make sure the box is ticked that says 'allow others to see I have a webcam' that might do it.
