I've read its a supermoon. The website I find says the next Blood Moon is April 4th.

You can only have a lunar eclipse when the moon is full. The next full moon is 4th April. Solar eclipse (and new moon) is 20th March.

It's all well and good pulling funny faces but scienifically minded people usually give more useful data on where to look, so many degrees elevation and compass direcetions etc not to mention that it isnt in the same place at the same time dependent on yor location.

I dont think i'll bother looking now.

What with Venus and Jupiter being so bright last month and Mars being around its been a stellar (ho ho) few weeks for sky watchers.

Nope. That will only be a Partial eclipse in the UK. Totality in some parts of Europe though.

Next total eclipse in the UK us something like 2070...

Hey hey, my kind of people I love anything to do with the cosmos, I went to Folkestone for 1999 it was too cloudy but what was weird all the birds seem too disappear, even the seagulls it was only brief.

Ahhh the blood moon cometh.. The end days . There was two last year and two this year, but don't panic I think you get that run more than the religious folk would have you believe!

Harvest moon not to be mistaken for harvey moon.

I particularly like watching a rising harvest moon, you get that size disparity where it looks massive.

Blue moons well three more common than the saying might suggest I think it's this year actually.
