Single swingers... forming a relationship and becoming a swinging couple.. happy endings or car crash waiting to happen?

I think it depends on the rules and freedom you set yourselves!

Works for lots of people!

I've seen both endings

I think the basis is the same for any relationship regardless of how it started, trust, honesty and communication

met on here 4 years ago - very much in love - the beauty is, there is nothing hidden - we both know what we like - and thoroughly enjoy it - no jealousy at all - works for us - and as we have on our profile - thank you Fab ! x

Most relationships fail abmnd I imagine that's true for swingers too.

Compatibility and openness are what's important.

I've seen relationships go from lovey dovey to bloody hating each other it's cringe worthy but there are lots that has lasted

Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

go for it if you find someone and be happy.

if it doesn't, dignity at all cots.

Met on here 18 months ago, he moved in six months ago. I've only ever lived with my husband and I left him 13 years ago.

If I'm honest it's taking me time to adjust to sharing "my stuff" and seeing my immaculate home turn into a branch of Screwfix/Plumbs

On the positive...we're a good team

"Single swingers... forming a relationship and becoming a swinging couple.. happy endings or car crash waiting to happen? "

Same as any relationship - either is possible.

We met on the kink scene and have been together almost 3 years. My last relationship before this was with someone on here and very much a car crash!

"Car crashes's ...one or the other ends up wanting something more ! "

Same with every relationship, one partner always wants/loves the other more.

It's almost statistically impossible for two people to want/love each other at the same quantifiable rate.

I believe it works for those who have the same understanding but don't jump in a relationship with a swinger an get jelouse cus you will be straight out the door. ??

Very true. That's where compromise comes in. How much or how little's the deal breaker

Thanks again folks for responses. . I spend more time with swingers than vanilla socially..makes sense that I'd end up connecting with one. All your experiences really helped me think about what we can do to help it work out.

Oh and for those of you with happy endings and getting married. . Wow congrats..that was so lovely to read x

I think a relationship found through fab stands a better chance of survival as there is a lot more honesty and cards laid out on the table beforehand.

I can make a mess of a relationship without fab getting in the way. It shouldn't matter where you meet. It's just me I am undateable haha

I wouldn't say you are undateable I just think you need someone with a bit of patience and understanding

I'd much rather a relationship with a person I met off fab but currently I'm really not looking for anything...someone recently left a bitter taste in my mouth in regards to relationships
