mine at the moment as i am limited to public transport..i do need a car.

If i was a bit more mobile, then where ever she felt comfortable as its her choice.

I actually have a bit of an issue with this when it comes to first meets.

I feel more comfortable in my own home but I'm always concerned with giving out my address to someone who is still a stranger.

I insist on a social meet first but that can only help to a point.

And yes, I know I'm not a bloke but when have I ever been able to keep my nose out and my trap shut?

I still don't know if this is a FIRST meet or not.

First meet would be neither my house or hers.

It would be a hotel.

I've only ever met at hers first time once.

But we'd been chatting for ages.

I know I'm just surprised by the concept men had that some women would be most comfortable with that. For me I'd want to be in control of when I leave not have the worry of throwing out. Also I just wouldn't have enough trust to let someone in enough for that not least because it's not just my home but my son's too.

Interesting to see how many assume a woman would prefer to accom. I've recently changed my profile to 'Can't Accom' even though I can cos I'm sick of being expected to all the time, even when their profile states they can accom too. This way I can still offer it if I want to, but it's not always me who has to run the hoover round after a busy day at work, and the neighbours can stop twitching their curtains as much!

One assumed from a safety/ gentleman's point of _iew.

Like a previous poster I prefer to accommodate as it makes me more comfortable and relaxed.

I don't make any assumption as to what location a lady might prefer to meet and always offer to meet at a location where she feels most comfortable - as long as it is also somewhere I feel OK.

That might well be somewhere public like a coffee shop, pub, restaurant, or just a train station. I don't think anyone has ever offered to let me into their home first time.

But the question was giving the two options.
