Two things going on I think. Her behaviour was arrogant, snooty, derogatory. No one should do that to another. He offered to pay for the meal. She said okay. I don't see that as surprising. She'd already shown that she has such low self esteem she can only feel good by putting others down. So why would anyone expect her to think she shouldn't be bought a meal as she was rude. I said what I said as the Original Post seems to imply that as she didn't fancy him she should have not taken the meal. It follows then that if she HAD fancied him she could have accepted the meal and no one would be calling her a bitch. The meal bit to me is irrelevant. She was nasty.
