The family of the three girls who absconded to join ISIS now blame the British authorities for this being allowed to happen.

Personally, I think they should have been more engaged with their own children, these numpties moaning that the authorities should have done more really boils my piss, its about time the muslim community got their collective arses in gear and dealt with this situation with some positive action to educate their own children and ostracise those that radicalise them.

manchester & NI

I think parents in general need to keep a closer eye on their children.

But as a last resort to stopping the 3 girls joining ISIS I would have thought the government would be more vigilant at airports or have something in agreement with the transit countries at their airports/border crossings.

How were you as a teenager? I know that I was not the easiest one to communicate with. Sure, parents and institutions should all do their best but I am sure it is not always easy to get through to kids.

O o O oo

The children are the responsibility of their parents. I know we don't all know what our kids are ( or were in our case ) getting up to but we have to accept responsibility for our children.
