Hidden profiles

I have noticed a large increase in the number hidden profiles.

Could this be due to the change with verifications now being removed on someone’s profile if you block them? Anyone any views on this?

Admin seem to have been addressing this problem for a long time. It means you can stop someone showing a verification that you wish you hadn't given. All you have to do is block them.

its been a long timecoming - but its great that it has - yep - the two peeps of my concern are defo blocked"!!!

So i dont need to worry about my shining veri of them now!!!

Perhaps people are having a break for a while hence the hidden profile.

I can't see the correlation between lost verifications and hidden profiles.

You give a verification saying the person was real and turned up. If you fall out doesn't alter the facts! But I can see how your verification, used to encourage others to meet someone you don't like would rankle!

Exactly so Sassy, my profile is hidden as are my verifications, not because of blocking or being blocked..... I am just taking a break.

Me neither. If I was embarrassed by having "lost" a verification, hiding my profile isn't going to help - I'd just claim that I was being more selective in my displaying.

We sometimes hide our profiles simply because we are too busy or only wish to focus on the couple profiles for couple meets etc. As far as verifications are concerned, I think, well they represent how one felt at that moment in time, even if the feelings have changed since? And we have the option of hiding them anyway. But definitely not embarrassed about previous verifications...

hey, some attributes have not been created yet but languages do evolve and new words are added to the dictionary everyday, for example in the world of IT... so, Mushy, I challenge you to find them, the ones appropriate to you, their comparatives AND superlatives...
