so we know some of us use them for he hmmmm but would you really want to get married there I think it is fab and for someone on a budget £199 per wedding two nights for bride and groom feeding 20 guests in the reception..

I've seen a wedding reception in a Toby Carvery! Beat that £5.50 per head! lol

I agree - it doesn't matter a jot how fancy or 'by the book' your wedding is. It's about two people making a commitment to each other in front of people who matter and anything else is just a bonus.

What's the point in spending a fortune? Doesn't make the vows mean any more. The flashiest and most expensive wedding I've been to was over in under two years

They're divorcing now and slogging out who should pay for the loan they got to pay for the wedding.

We got married on a budget.

Got married in the registry office, had the reception at our bungalow. Doing the catering ouselves, even making our own 2 tier wedding cake. And have just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary!

For us it's the vows that count and not starting our married life with a massive debt. But each to their own, xx

When I got married 29 years ago my wedding dress was made by a family friend for £80, you couldn't buy size 24 dresses then. The eight bridesmaids dresses were £30 each.

Men's suits were hired from Moss Bros, my parents paid for the Rolls and stretched Merc for the bridesmaids, my aunt did the wedding cake another aunt did the catering, a friend did the video all in all my wedding cost about £1,000.

If I were to marry again would I want a £199 wedding?!! Hell...no!!!

33 years for us think the wedding breakfast was £3.50 a head and I know total booze bill was £85.00 can hardly get a decent bottle of wine for that these days. Think our daughters wedding cost abt 10 grand and no I didn't pay for it all being a mean old dad

A friend of ours got married at a holiday inn,it was really good,the room was gorgeous the food was fine and everyone had a great time

I really can't see the point of having a huge debt around your neck before you even start married life,too many people that are trying to one up each other with weddings now days or compete with celebrity weddings

18 years ago we went off to the Carribean to get married, to a place that I had wanted to go since I was a child it was far cheaper,less stressful,and we had a wonderful holiday too

I was going to have a recepetion when we came back but lots of my family were so peeved that I had done them out of a church wedding and day out they did'nt send me off with any good wishes so I thought bollocks to them and did'nt bother with the reception

Our wedding 23 years ago cost £23, that included the dress. He wore his military uniform which saved a bit. Best £23 we spent.
