It's British pie week and I'm craving a nice steak and ale pie with puff pastry

Take any form of animal, cover it in gravy, stick it in a lovely warm pastry coat. Job's a good un!

Although my top ten pies are:

Pork pie.

Pork and pickle pie.

Pork and apple pie.

Steak.

Steak and kidney.

steak and stilton.

Chicken and mushroom.

Corned beef pie.

Game pie

Mmm. I might just go and make one.

PS. I was in a bizarre shop this morning called B&M Bargains and they had tinned pies on their shelves called Goblin Pies. It made me giggle. I like goblin pies
